Leadership in challenging times, a six-hour instructor-led course, is designed to help leaders acquire knowledge and skills to provide a psychologically safe workplace.   Currently, 35% of Canadian employees experiencing burnout, 49 per cent of full time Canadians, employees feel fatigued at the end of the workday.

  2. Why is psychological safety critical in the workplace?
  3. Responsibilities of leaders and the requirement to prevent reasonably foreseeable harm to the mental health of employees.
  4. The concept and the imperatives of awareness, understanding and carefulness.
  5. Tools that are available to leaders to prevent mental distress or potential mental injury and provide a psychologically safe working environment.
  6. The drivers of psychological safety and how leaders manage those drivers.
  7. Tips to reduce stress while increasing motivation, acceptance, and fairness at work.
  8. New workplace obligations since COVID 19.
