Agile is best described as a movement to enable ‘business’ organizations to be more iterative, incremental, and adaptive to the quick changes in the business world. Agile is usually associated with software development, but is really, far broader. Agile methods promote a disciplined project management process that encourages frequent inspection and adaptation, a leadership philosophy that encourages teamwork, self-organization and accountability.
